December 27, 2011 - As a late Christmas gift, here's a font that's as pretty as a present with a bow, "Press Darling." Press Darling is an attractive font that's perfect for fancier comic book lettering over and above your usual fare for cartoon scripts. Press Darling has eleven (11) versions in the font family, each with a full character set. |
He's going for speed! |
December 20, 2011 - Here he comes, here comes "X-Racer!" X-Racer is a radical sci-fi font with a slanted and geometric build to it. Perfect for bleeding edge titles. Banzai!!! |
December 14, 2011 - Inspired by the Shogun Warriors toy-line from way back in the 1970's, "Warrior Nation" is a fun, retro-looking action font. Warrior Nation has a full character set and includes a whopping nineteen (19) versions in the font family. Banzai!!! |

Thunder-Hawk comes with a complete character set and eighteen (18) versatile variations in the font family (such as the "Drop" version pictured below). Extra points for anyone who knows where the quote comes from |
Number One with a Gun! |
November 5, 2011 - "Pistoleer" is my latest and greatest title font. Bold and modern, Pistoleer still captures just a hint of the swashbuckler. The font includes sixteen (16) versions in the font family, each with a complete character set. There are also a number of alternate letters between the upper and lower cases. |
Trick or Font! |
October 31, 2011 - One more Halloween-themed font in celebration of the Eve of All Saints Day! "Beastian" is a blobby, messy font perfect for invoking that animalistic feeling of brutishness. Beastian comes with a full character set and eleven (11) version in the font family. Happy Halloween! |
Halloween Frightful Five-Pack! |
October 25, 2011 - The last day of BLOCKTOBER is fast approaching, and to celebrate All Hallows' Eve, here's not two, not three, not four - but FIVE macabre fonts for all your horror needs! It's Iconian's Halloween Frightful Five-Pack for all you good goblins and ghouls!
First up is "Bloodlust," dripping and oozing with the red elixir of life. Hakturus comes with twelve (12) variations and a full character set.
The fourth font is "Monsterama." With its alternately-sized letters between the upper and lower cases, Monsterama is perfect for pretty much any monster-themed projects. Monsterama has an extended character set and includes thirteen (13) versions in the font family.
And last but not least, "Zakenstein." As if put together with pieces of all sorts just like the Doctor's creation, Zakenstein is a classicly inspired horror font with a full character set, several alternate letters between the cases and twelve (12) variations in the family. |
Blackest Day or Brightest Night! |
October 17, 2011 - "Red Rocket" is simply my old Battlefied font updated and modified here and there to more closely resemble the logo of everyone's favorite Emerald Crusader, a logo which may possibly have been made from a modified version of Battlefield a number of years ago. Red Rocket has a full character-set, different sizes between the upper and lower cases and fifteen (15) eye-popping variations in the font family. Beware the power, Red Rocket's light! |
All-Out Battle Action! |

King Commando comes with seventeen (17) super-cool variations, including the Rotated and Rotalic versions shown below. And the "Riddled" versions of the family look even more shot-up and cratered for even more of a punch. Comes with a extended character set. Now hit that beach-head, soldier! |

Hawkmoon has a complete character set, several alternate letters between the upper and lower cases and includes sixteen (16) variations in the ZIP file. Be a creature of the night with Hawkmoon! |
Font update - Graymalkin! |
October 2, 2011 - About six months ago I released the "Graymalkin" font family. Now looking back at the font all these months later, I realized that I didn't care too much for the large amount of space between the letters. But rather than change the font I had already released, I decided instead to simply add a set of fonts to the ZIP file with tighter, closer character-spacing. You'll now find these compacted versions of the fonts in the ZIP file, with the moniker "Compact" in the font name. Funny how things can look different to you after some time has gone by
|
Was Earth visited by Ancient Astronauts??? |
September 28, 2011 - Inspired by the hit History Channel series, "Praetorian" is my latest futuristic/sci-fi font. Praetorian comes with a full character set and also has nineteen (19) versions in the font family (the one pictured below is "Gradient"). In addition, there are a number of alternate letter choices between the upper and lower cases. |
Make Mine Marvel! |
September 19, 2011 - Well, with the recent release of the Captain America movie, Marvel's next big-budget production will be the Avengers. As a life-long Marvel geek, I'm already excited. So here's my homage to Earth's mightiest heroes, "Heroes Assemble." Hereos Assemble has an extended character set plus nineteen (19) variation fonts in the family, including cool gradient and outline versions. There're also a number of alternate letter choices in some of the punctuation as well as some Marvel related dingbats in the international characters range, so use of a character map will be helpful in exploring and using this font. |
Kneel before the Emperor's Crown! |
September 14, 2011 - It's about time for a non-techno font. "Empire Crown" is a fraktur/gothic inspired font done in all lower case letters. Empire Crown has a full character set, twelve (12) variation fonts in the family and a number of alternate letter choices between the upper and lower cases. Be sure to check out the "Rotalic" variation, which is a rotated AND italicized version of the typeface. Your empire awaits! |
The Summer of Tech Concludes! |
September 5, 2011 - Well, it's Labor Day and the Summer of Tech concludes with "Aircruiser" though don't fret - there will still be plenty of tech fonts from Iconian Fonts to come. Aircruiser is a super-slick, uber-cool looking sci-fi typeface with a full character set and twenty-one (21) variations in the font family. There's also a number of alternate letter choices between the upper and lower cases. (Note - to get the reverse-facing capital "A" use the caret symbol "^") |
Blackletter Tech! |
August 31, 2011 - Maybe the last tech font for the "Summer of Tech," maybe not. The Gemina font family is a bold, powerful looking typeface that comes in two different zip packages. "Gemina" has all straight edges while "Gemina 2" has a number of letters with diagonal edges. Both Gemina and Gemina 2 have 18 variations apiece for a grand total of 36 different font variations to choose from when looking for just the right look. Both font packages also have a number of alternate letters between the upper and lower cases as well as complete character sets.
|
The Summer of Tech Ain't Quite Over! |
August 25, 2011 - Summer's not quite over, so here's another pre-Labor Day sci-fi font. "Troopers" is a stylish tech font with a full character set, several alternate letter choices between the upper and lower cases and nineteen (19) versions in the font family. |
Mustang Tech! |
August 17, 2011 - Iconian Font's Summer of Tech keeps marching on! Any Mustang fans out there? If so, this font may look somewhat familiar. But even if not, "Capella" is a great looking, solid futuristic font. Capella comes with a staggering twenty (20) versions in the font famly, complete character sets and several alternate letters between the upper and lower cases. |
The Dog Days of Tech! |
August 10, 2011 - This font has a lot of the same characteristics as its namesake. Like a soldier, this font is bold and strong. Like a solider, this font is not overly complicated but is stream-lined for efficiency. And like a soldier, this font's twenty-two (22) variations allow it to go anywhere and adapt to the environments around it. The "Soldier" font family is mission-oriented and can easily pull double-duty! Soldier also sports a full character set. |
The Fonts of Summer! |
July 30, 2011 - Clean, italicized sci-fi lettering, "Lightsider" is a great futuristic font that also works very well at smaller point sizes. And while the font comes with ten (10) versions, my favorites are the "Compact" versions where the spaces between the letters are closer together for an even sleeker look. Lightsider also sports a full character set. |
The Quick & the Dead |
July 21, 2011 - "Nightwraith" is a bold and striking sci-fi font that looks best italicized (though there are non-italicized version in the ZIP file). Nightwraith has a complete character set and comes with nine (9) variations in the font family. Be sure to check out the 3D italic version for a variation that adds that extra little "punch." |
The Summer of Sci-Fi continues! |
July 7, 2011 - My "Summer of Sci-Fi" continues with a brand spanking new futuristic/techno/sci-fi workhorse of a font. "Strikelord" has a full character set and a versatile twelve (12) variation fonts in the family. Peace! |
Automotive Excellence! |
June 24, 2011 - It should be readily apparent what the inspiration for "Ozda" was! "Ozda" comes with a full character set and a cool set of fourteen (14) versions in the font family - be sure to check out the gradient versions! |
Want to know more? |
June 16, 2011 - "Federal Service" is a crisp, clean and even elegant techno font. Smooth curves coupled with a futuristic design makes this a pleasing font to use; especially since the font family includes twenty-three (23) variations of different weights, widths and effects. You can make Federal Service work in any modern space you need to fill with text. However, despite the name and the graphic's sample text, this font is NOT based on anything seen in certain movies. Which movies? I'm curious to see if people can figure that out themsevles! |
The King is to marry! |
June 7, 2011 - When King Michael Trueheart of Shadier wed his beloved Rhalina, this was the font the Royal Court used for the wedding invitations! Well, okay, not really as Michael Trueheart was a fictional character of a friend of mine. But my youngest brother used this font recently for HIS wedding invitations! Does that count? "Rhalina" has a full character set and includes nine versions of the font in the family. |
Spartacus' Right-Hand Man! |
June 1, 2011 - Named after the real-life gladiator who helped the famed Spartacus lead a slave-revolt in ancient Rome, "Crixus" is a a great utilitarian font. It's clean, crisp, light and narrow and can be used almost anywhere. Crixus has a full character set and fifteen (15) different versions in the font family. Better to die free than live a slave! |
The Tech keeps on coming! |
May 10, 2011 - The techno/sci-fi kick continues. "Trireme" is named after the sleek warships of the ancient Greeks, and the font likewise is sleek and wide and thin. Trireme comes with a whopping twenty-one (21) versions in the font family, each with a full character set. Perfect for short titles. |
Too cool for slick! |
April 23, 2011 - I'm on a techno/sci-fi kick lately. "Wildcard" is my newest bleeding-edge techno font with a number of different characters between the upper and lower cases. Wildcard also has a full character set and twelve (12) versatile fonts in the family. So go label the side of your spacecraft or something!
|
Too slick for cool! |
April 8, 2011 - "Graymalkin" is my latest ultra-tech fontface. Bold, broad and sleek, Graymalkin comes in two basic flavors - the wider "regular" versions and the narrower "condensed" versions for when space is tighter. There are five (5) versions of each basic type for a total of ten (10) fonts in the family. And as usual, each font had a complete character set. Hope you enjoy! |
